📢 Call for Chapters: The Global Power Shift to Asia and Challenges to Western Dominance

We invite academics, researchers, policymakers, and geopolitical analysts to contribute to an upcoming academic volume, The Global Power Shift to Asia and Challenges to Western Dominance, scheduled for release in 2027 by IGI Global Scientific Publishing and possibly indexed in SCOPUS.

📖 About the Book

For over five centuries, the Euro-Atlantic sphere has served as the center of global geopolitical and economic gravity. Today, that era is ending. This book explores the most defining geopolitical phenomenon of the 21st century: the rapid and irreversible migration of power from the West to the East. It delivers a sharp, critical analysis of the structural and geopolitical paralysis of the European Union, exposing vulnerabilities such as internal divisions, bureaucratic inertia, and "idealism over realpolitik."

Key themes include, but are not limited to:

  • Geopolitical Blindness and Loss of Influence: Diplomatic paralysis, the rise of alternative alliances (BRICS+), and the EU's strategic retreat.
  • Economic Dependency and Technological Lag: The New Silk Road encirclement, the tech deficit in AI and green tech, and loss of industrial competitiveness.
  • Institutional Paralysis in Brussels: Bureaucratic inertia, the veto weapon, and idealism vs. realpolitik.
  • Security and Asymmetric Threats: Weaponized migration, hybrid warfare, cyberattacks, and the European defense illusion.
